Having to cast and re-equip the commander may be rough with Time Wipe, but at least the commander is spared before the wipe takes effect, dodging the "command tax." 6 Austere Command Is A Selective Board Wipe Austere Command is a medium-rank card among the best Commander board wipes because, on one hand, it costs a whopping 6 mana and can be thwarted with indestructible or regenerationbut then again, it can be incredibly flexible
